Operating Partners

Council Ventures' investment team also includes six Operating Partners who work with our portfolio companies as board members and advisors. Highlights of their experience are as follows:

* CEOs of 16 companies, including eight healthcare companies, one financial services company, five technology companies and two in other industries. Under their leadership, the Operating Partners are responsible for the creation of realized shareholder value of over $9 billion and they completed numerous successful mergers, acquisitions, turnarounds and IPOs.

* Members of the boards of 44 companies, including 13 board seats in healthcare, six board seats in financial services businesses, five board seats with technology companies and 20 board seats in other industries. Of the 44 companies: 28 were early-stage and 22 were venture-backed companies with invested venture capital of approximately $600 million.
